Included with all TASCAM interfaces is a copy of Steinberg's Cubase LE recording software. This powerful software is easy to use, but packs in more power than anything in its class. You get 48 tracks of recording at 96k, 64 MIDI tracks, even cool functions like VST plug-ins and notation editing. Though the US-122L works with almost any software for Mac or Windows, Cubase LE lets you start making music right away.
Also included is TASCAM's newLD-74 microphone, designed by MXL. Their microphones have been used on dozens of hit records and soundtracks over the last few years, and this new model was made especially for TASCAM. Its large diaphragm design has a 1" gold-sputtered element inside, and the specs are nearly identical to classic studio-standard vocal and instrument mics. You even get a tabletop stand and XLR cable to connect it to the US-122L.
