Shure PGX14/AT899 Lavalier Wireless Microphone System Ease of set-up, with Automatic Frequency Selection and Automatic Transmitter Setup, the PGX14 is the quickest and easiest wireless system to set up. The Audio Reference Companding delivers level dependent companding, compressing the audio signal before transmission, and expanding it after reception to deliver greater than 100dB dynamic range. A diversity receiver contains two seperate antennaes, each antennae has an independent receiver and the signals are demodulated seperately. The main unit scans these two outputs and seamlessly selects the output with the strongest signal for processing. The result is a wireless system with fewer drop outs, less interference and more reliable reception.
