The Horizon recessed stage pocket / floor box is designed for permanent installations (houses of worship, boardrooms, court rooms, performance halls, etc.) where multiple microphone, speaker, instrument, video, data, AC power and most any other connectors need to be easily available yet recessed and protected when not in use. These floor boxes are very rugged and durable due to the thick steel frame. They feature heavy-duty lids that can withstand the rigors of heavy traffic, and even the weight of a piano leg sitting on it. There is a choice of three lid options. These lids provide for easy opening as well as allowing the lid to shut with cables plugged into the recessed connectors.
From date of order, please allow 4-6 business days to custom build. If you have an urgent requirement, we will expedite your order by shipping the box, flange and lid separately in 24-48 hours and then sending the connector plate in 4-6 days. There is a $9.00 per box charge. For other than "Ground" shipping, we will also bill you the actual 3-day, 2-day or 1-day shipping charge.
Lowell Floor Receptacles are brass floor receptacles for mounting 1-2 XLR Female connectors in the floor. These are ideal for permanently mounting 1 or 2 microphone input connectors (XLR-Female) under a pulpit, podium, lectern or table. Please note that there is an optional carpet ring available (CTR).

FB8 Stage Pockets
The FB8 stage pocket, floor box is our most popular model. The Floor Pocket DEPTH is 8 inches. These stage pockets / floor boxes are designed for up to 18 various connectors of your choice. Depending on connector, we may get more than 18 connectors in the box. Call us. |

FB5 Stage Pockets
The FB5 stage pocket floor box has a limited application where recessed depth is a concern. These FB5 stage pockets, floor boxes are identical to the FB8, except for POCKET DEPTH, which is 5 inches. If you have from 5 to 8 connectors and many are 1/4", RCA or CAT5E, this stage pocket is a good choice. For applications with less than 5 connectors, we recommend the FBM Stage Pocket. For applications with more that 6 connectors, we recommend the FB8 Stage Pocket. |
