About Patchbays and Normalling Schemes

This patchbay features a half-normalled configuration.
Items plugged into rear panel top and bottom jacks
in any one channel are automatically connected to
each other. Plugging into the bottom-front jack of
that channel breaks the connection between top and
bottom at the rear. This half-normal configuration is
the perfect combination of versatility and affordability,
and easily handles all of the patching scenarios needed
by most commercial and home studios.

De-Normalled operation, straight-through wiring, is
accomplished by turning around selected internal
channel modules 180 degrees.
